Project Example 1 – Magazine

We were asked to reinvent a long-running culture magazine that had lost its shelf presence. Our team rebuilt the editorial system from the masthead down, defining a flexible grid, a contrasting serif-and-grotesque type pairing, and a cover treatment that reads from across the room. The goal was a publication that felt collectible rather than disposable. Each section received its own color signature and pacing, so readers could navigate by feel, while the underlying layout rules kept production fast for the in-house team. The relaunch issue sold through its newsstand run and lifted subscriptions noticeably in its first quarter.

Project Description
A complete editorial redesign covering the cover system, interior grid, and a reusable template kit. The new look balances a confident newsstand presence with comfortable long-form reading inside.
